Training of Trainers (ToT) on Public Financial Management for Civil Society based in Rwanda & Zambia

The Joint Learning Agenda (JLA) on Health Financing and UHC, led by WACI Health and Impact Sante Afrique (ISA) in partnership with the Global Fund, is seeking for qualified trainers in Rwanda and Zambia to build the capacity of civil society organizations (CSOs) on public financial management (PFM) and equitable health financing advocacy. JLA seeks to increase the capacity of CSOs to engage and influence budgeting processes, support sustainable advocacy strategies, and help align country-level efforts with regional and global health financing commitments. Once selected, trainers will receive intensive PFM training and deliver capacity-building workshops to CSOs in their respective countries. 

WHO CAN APPLY

CSO leaders, advocates, and technical specialists with: 

✓ Experience or strong interest in health financing, budget advocacy, or PFM
✓ Strong facilitation and communication skills
✓ Commitment to strengthening CSO engagement in national budget processes

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

To be eligible, applicants must:

  1. Organizational Affiliation: Be employed by or formally affiliated with a recognized civil society organization, CSO network, or coalition working on health, governance, or public finance issues in Rwanda or Zambia
  2. Have completed the WHO’s e-learning course on Health Financing

     

  3. Availability: Be available to:
    • Attend the full ToT workshop (Online)
    • Deliver subsequent training sessions to CSOs in their country over the course of the programme
    • Participate in ongoing peer learning and mentorship activities
  1. Letter of Guarantee: Provide a signed letter from their organization confirming:
    • Their employment/affiliation status
    • The organization’s support for their participation in the ToT programme
    • Commitment to allow time for training delivery activities
